About Food Memoir

This course is designed for aspiring memoirists, as well as writers interested in deploying elements of memoir in essays and articles. Students meet for six conference call workshop sessions and one 30-minute private coaching session. During workshop, students peer review memoir pieces, aided by editors from cookNscribble.

Each class is supplemented by a pre-recorded interview with memoir masters: Diana Abu-Jaber, Judith Barrington, Molly Birnbaum, Cara Da Silva, Gael Greene, Madhur Jaffrey, Judith Jones, Molly Peacock, Georgia Pellegrini,  Ruth Reichl, Gabrielle Hamilton, Frank Bruni, Anthony Bourdain, Bill Buford, David Leite, and others.
